The third annual St. Nicholas Winter Fest will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on the corner of Robinson and Clinton Streets in North East on Saturday, Dec. 10, from noon to 4 p.m.  In addition to the mostly free activities, there will be two new events.  There will be a Chinese auction with donations including gift cards ($10 to $50) from many local businesses and more than 30 wonderful gift baskets from church members.  Other items include four Otters tickets, two Bayhawks tickets, a small flat screen TV and a large cooler.  There will also be a $3 hot dog lunch which includes a Smith’s hot dog, chips and a pop or juice

The community is invited to join in the celebration.  There will also be a variety of free activities for both children and adults.  The free activities include hayrides, crafts for children to make, face painting, treat bags, Festival of Trees, piano music by Linda Morey, hot chocolate and cookies, a bonfire with marshmallows, inside and outside games and a visit from St. Nicholas. St. Nicholas will interact with the children and tell his story.  There will be a free door prize drawing which contains Rada knives/utensils, boxes of greeting cards and napkins.  All you have to do is sign up for the drawing to be entered.

Church members have been working hard to make this event the best one yet. Bring your children and grandchildren for lots of fun for the whole family!
