O. Mae Anderson, 91, a resident of the Watson Home, Conewango Ave., Warren, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2011 at UMPC Hamot Hospital, Erie, PA.

She was born May 3, 1919, in New Eagle, Pa the daughter of the late Gustav and Selma Swanson Tunall.  She was a 1937 graduate of Kane High School.  She was owner and operator of the Hillcrest Restaurant in Kane for many years and after moving to Warren was employed at Quality Markets until retiring.  She was a very active member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church where she loved to sing in the choir and baked Swedish Rye for the communion services. She especially enjoyed her family.

She is survived by, a daughter, Carole J. Carley, North East; two sons, Brian W. Peterson and his wife Joanie and John M. Peterson and his wife Charlene both of Warren; five grandchildren, Jessica Stanforth and her husband William, Philadelphia, William Peterson and his wife Valerie, Charlotte, N.C., James Peterson and his wife Kelly, Chesapeake, VA., Jeffrey Peterson, Erie, PA., Jeremy Peterson, Warren; and six great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Carl M. Peterson, who passed away on May 22, 1963, her second husband, Leroy L. Anderson, who passed away on November 21, 1980, a brother, William B. Tunall, and a son in law, J. Patrick Carley.

Arrangements were handled by Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren. Burial will be in the Mount Tabor Cemetery, Kane, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, 1128 State St., Ste. 301, Erie, PA 16501 and Hospice of Warren County, 2 Crescent Park West, Warren, PA 16365.
