North East Sports Boosters Scholarship applications are available in the NEHS Guidance Office, and also on the school district website: www.nesd1.org. Mailed applications must be postmarked by May 13.

Greenfield Fire Dept. will hold   Turkey Shoots on Sundays, May 2 and May 16 beginning at 10 a.m. at the Greenfield Fire Hall, 10160 Station Rd. - Route 430.

The North East Community Yard Sale is set for May 15. If you would like to include your yard sale on the map, you must sign up at the Chamber office by Monday, May 3. The cost is $3. Remember, the Chamber will relocate to 17 E. Main St. starting April 30.

Just a reminder that your County/Borough taxes are now due at the discount amount. The North East Borough tax collector’s office will be open Friday, April 30, 9-1 and 2-5 to receive  tax payments.

An Oldies Night to benefit Greenfield Fire Company will be held Saturday, May 1 from 7-11 p.m. at the fire hall, 10160 Station Rd. Cost is $5 per person for the BYOB event. Bring your own karaoke CDG and sing and enjoy music by DJ Bobby E.

A tire drive will be held Sat., April 24 from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. at Harborcreek Volunteer Fire Dept., 7275 Buffalo Rd. Deliver 10 or more tires, $2 each; $3 per tire for less than 10; $5 per truck tire; $8 per farm tractor tire; $.50 per rim and $2 per battery.
