Over 160 very talented high school musicians will arrive in North East on Wednesday, March 23 and stay through Saturday, March 26 to participate in the PMEA Region II Band Festival.

A concert will be presented on Saturday, March 26 at 11:30 a.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens. The students will be directed by Dr. Dennis Layendecker, retired commander of the Air Force Band in Washington D.C..

A special part of this festival is that Bruce Johnstone will be be bringing one of his Fredonia Big Bands to North East on Friday Evening to present a concert at 8pm. This concert is free and open to the public and will start at 8 p.m. and last approximately one hour.
