The Lake Shore Railway Historical Society will host “Christmas at the Station” at the Lake Shore Railway Museum, 31 Wall Street, North East.

The event will be held over two upcoming weekends:  November 26-27 from 12-4 p.m., and again on Sugar Plum Weekend, December 3-4.

Shop for holiday crafts and railroad gifts, step aboard locomotives, and tour sleeper cars “Pend O’Reille River,” “Nightstar” and “Central Park.”  Take a ride down the tracks on the Speeder Car or the caboose from 12:30 – 3:30 p.m., enjoy lunch in the dining car from 12 – 2:30 p.m., and talk to Ken Springirth, who will be signing and selling his railroad books.  There will also be an art show, bake sale, and farmer’s market featuring local produce.

Call the Museum at 725-1911 for more information.
