Ida B. Faulkner, age 83, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at Brevillier Village. She was born in Erie on July 18, 1928, daughter of the late Oscar and Agnes Lamberton Strong.

A resident of Harborcreek Township, she had lived in the Erie area her entire life.

Ida was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald F. Faulkner; one sister, Thelma Kenny; and four brothers, Charles, Harry, Norman and Edward Strong.

She is survived by two daughters, Debra Arthur of Harborcreek Twp. and Barb Maleski of Erie; one son, Eugene Faulkner (Deborah) of Harborcreek Twp.; a son-in-law, George Arthur of Lakeland, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Amy, Matthew, Stan, Tiffany, Lindsay, Jonathan and Joshua; two great-grandchildren, Kaitlin and Waylon; many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements were handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road. Memorial contributions may be made to the Brookside Fire Dept., 3560 Athens, Erie, PA 16510.
