Robert W. Jackson, age 74, of North East Twp., passed away Sunday, March 27, 2011 at St. Mary’s Home East. He was born in Tarentum, Pa. on January 20, 1937, son of the late John William and Dorothy Weber Jackson.

Robert was a member of St. Gregory R.C. Church. He was a graduate of Cathedral Prep, Class of 1954, and also attended Gannon College in the engineering program. He was employed at General Electric Co. for 35 years, retiring in 1997. Robert was a member of the G.E. Quarter Century Club, the G.E. Retired Employees Assn., and the Moose Lodge in North East. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and horseshoes.

He is survived by his beloved companion, Sally Ensign; a daughter, Brenda Weber (Robert) of McKean; one brother, Edward Jackson (Judy) of Harborcreek Twp.; one granddaughter, Amanda Weber of Erie; one nephew and four nieces.

Arrangements were handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association .-Greater PA Chapter, 1128 State St., Suite 301, Erie, PA 16501.
