Serve up a batch of your favorite soup on Sunday, Jan. 10, as the Grapevine TimeXchange presents its second annual “Souper Bowl Saturday” Potluck Dinner. The evening begins at 6 p.m. at Park United Methodist Church. Members and the public are welcome to attend.

The January Potluck will feature a friendly competition between members. Those in attendance are asked to bring soup to share as their contribution to the dinner. Those who choose to participate will then vote for their favorite soup. The winner will receive a special prize donated by the TimeXchange.

The Grapevine TimeXchange is a “time bank” whose mission is to promote equality and build caring community economies through exchanges of time and talents. Many needs are being met by utilizing the talents of the members of the TimeXchange. Visit the website at to join the Grapevine TimeXchange.

People interested in learning more about the Grapevine TimeXchange are invited to attend the Potluck. Along with bringing soup, salads or desserts to share, please bring a few soup bowls, your own table service and, of course, a soup spoon!

If you cannot attend but would like more information, please send an email to, or call 725-1653.
