Pennsylvania State Police

• WAYNE — State police at Corry were dispatched to a one-vehicle rollover crash involving a 2005 Jeep on Turnpike Road at 3:47 a.m. July 26. Police said the operator, a 37-year-old Erie man, was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the rollover and was transported to UPMC Hamot in Erie for injuries suffered during the crash. Upon investigation, police determined the man was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the rollover. Driving under the influence charges and summary traffic violations are pending through District Judge Denise Buell's office. State police did not release the name of the accused.

• HYDETOWN — A motor vehicle crash occurred as Seth S. Johnson, 53, of Copperstown, was traveling southbound on Route 8, just north of Main Street, at 4:12 p.m. Sept. 10. State police at Corry said another vehicle driven by Mitchell M. Bauer, 28, of Spartansburg, was stopped in the lane of traffic waiting for a school bus to turn left and Johnson failed to see that traffic had stopped and ran into the back of Bauer's vehicle. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene. No injuries were reported. Johnson was cited for a summary traffic violation. Hydetown Volunteer Fire Department also responded to the scene.
