William A. Nichols

The Corry Area School District is getting a new superintendent.

And it will be a familiar face.

The Corry Area School District Board of Directors is expected to pass a resolution at the board’s Monday night meeting, proudly naming William A. Nichols as superintendent of Corry schools, according to a news release from the board.

Nichols is no stranger to the city of Corry or Corry schools.

He served the district as superintendent of Corry schools from 1995 to 2004, moving through the ranks from teacher and department head to assistant principal and principal of Corry Area Middle-High school before becoming director of secondary education and assistant superintendent from 1991 to 1995.
