Corry City Police


• Police responded to Walmart, 961 E. Columbus Ave., at 5:53 p.m. Feb. 19, for a reported retail theft. Dustin Patterson, 28, and Jennifer Williams, 28, allegedly failed to scan $102.16 of miscellaneous food items while going through the self checkout. Both individuals were placed under arrest for retail theft and each one will have to answer to a summary offense through District Judge Denise Buell's office.  


Pennsylvania State Police


• SPARTA — A one-vehicle crash occurred at 10:34 a.m. Feb. 15 as Kurtis J. Burek, 4, of Union City, was traveling southbound in a 2002 Toyota Tacoma on Route 89. When Burek was approaching Rodgers Road, he lost control, swerved into an embankment, spun 180 degrees and overturned. Burek suffered no injuries and was wearing a seatbelt. The Toyota was towed from the scene. Burek is to be cited with a maximum speed limit violation.
