One of Corry’s historic buildings is ready for a new look.

The city of Corry Redevelopment Authority, during its recent meeting, awarded a contract for renovations on the Widmann building, 51-53-55 N. Center St.

The Redevelopment Authority, which owns the three-story, red-brick building, awarded a contract in the amount of $230,085 to CBF of Sligo, Pa., to do interior work on the building.

The work will include subflooring repairs; installing tile flooring; installing carpet; wall construction and finishing work; constructing ceilings; installing new doors in the entryway; renovations to bathrooms; electrical work; installing a ramp; and heating, air-conditioning and ventilation work.\
