A caravan of 30 classic vehicles and camping trailers will tour across Pennsylvania’s Route 6 next summer and Corry could have the chance to play host to the group.
The Pennsylvania Route 6 Heritage Corp. is seeking communities to host the Tin Can Tour Caravan in early June 2010 by providing overnight accommodations and a meal.
“Anytime we can play host to something like this the more people can see what Corry has to offer,” said Chris Schalles, western coordinator for PA Route 6 Heritage Community. “This sounds like a really neat thing.”
The caravan plans to stop each night in a town along the Route 6 corridor and hold an open house for residents and visitors to see the unique and mostly restored cars, trucks and campers.
