Daniel Shreve, 25, said he woke up about 5 a.m. the morning of March 18 to the sound of smoke detectors going off, and he could see and smell smoke.

Shreve is the son of Eve Shreve, who is accused of setting two fires at their home, 52 Marion St., Corry, and with trying to take her son’s life, her own life, and endangering three firefighters who entered the home while it was on fire.
