Members of the Corry Kiwanis are getting their ducks lined up for the second annual duck race.

The duck race, when yellow rubber ducks waddle their way across Alice Lake in Mead Park, takes place Sunday during Glenn Mead Day.

The duck race starts at 3 p.m.

How long it will take the ducks to finish their summer swim is anybody’s guess. But the first duck to float across the finish line will bring a lucky owner a $250 cash prize.

Many other prizes, including cash and gift certificates, also will be awarded.

Those who want to sponsor a duck may purchase a ticket now, and a rubber duck will be entered in the race for each ticket sold. Tickets will also be sold during Glenn Mead Day.

Tickets are available at Augie’s Pizza, 43 N. Center St., or Slike’s Bicycle Repair and Accessories, 731 N. Center St., or from any Kiwanis member. The cost of a ticket is $5 for each duck.

Several area businesses have contributed as sponsors of the duck race.
