‘A Gingerbread Christmas’

Prekindergarten through third-grade students at Columbus Elementary School performed two productions of “A Gingerbread Christmas” Thursday for classmates and community members. The story features a gingerbread man who is left as a treat for Santa Claus on Christmas Eve. However, the gingerbread man decides he doesn’t want to be eaten and plans to escape. He is eventually stopped by Mr. Tick Tock and is turned into an ornament and placed on a Christmas tree. Right photo, Megan Gourley, left, a third grader played the role of the gingerbread man. Noah Swarm, third grade, played the role of Mr. Tick Tock. Below, Kaitlynn Nichols, left, a third grader, played the role of Katrina. Morgan Noonan, third grade, played the role of Josh. Katrina and Josh are the children who left the gingerbread man as a treat for Santa.
