• Corry City Police arrested Brooke L. Bugbee, of Corry, for possession of a controlled substance at 101 W. Church St. at 5:46 a.m. April 15, according to a news release sent out Thursday. Bugbee was searched after her arrest and police found a clear round container with methamphetamine on her person. Bugbee is charged with misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She will have to answer to the charges before District Judge Denise Buell at a later date. 

 

• Corry City Police conducted a traffic stop at 406 N. Center St. where Brian A. Scharrer, 30, of Corry, was the driver at 3:15 a.m. Sept. 4. Police said Scharrer provided a false Pennsylvania driver's license to officers during the stop. He is charged with misdemeanor counts of false identification to law enforcement and driving while suspended (DUI related) as well as summary offenses concerning safe speeds and licenses. Scharrer will have to appear in front of District Judge Denise Buell at a later date to answer the charges.
