• VENANGO TOWNSHIP — Pennsylvania State Police at Erie said a crash occurred at 8:25 a.m. on Nov. 17 when a 2017 Jeep Cherokee driven by Brittany J. Starceski, 30, of Clymer, New York, was traveling westbound on Route 8. As Starceski was entering into a left hand curve in the road 441 feet west of Firethorn Road, her vehicle hit a patch of ice on the roadway. Starceski lost control of the Jeep. It crossed over the center line and went off the south side of the road. The Jeep struck a ditch with its front bumper and came to a final rest facing in an eastbound direction. Starceski was transported to UPMC Hamot by Wattburg Hose Co. with suspected minor injury. A seatbelt was used.
