Horsing around

If you like animals, you can’t go wrong at the Spartansburg Community Fair. During fair week, rabbits, cattle, sheep, goats, and, of course, horses take center stage. Alena Comstock of Guys Mills shows off her horse, Mr. Brown, for the camera, as she readies to show him off to the judges. Today’s events include the popular antique tractor pull at 7 p.m. The fair continues through Saturday. Journal photo by Stephen Sears
