• MINA, N.Y. — State police said two subjects have been charged in connection with a burglary that occurred on Sept. 5 at 9 p.m. on Bailey Hill Road in the town of Mina. Jared Gilbert, 33, of Mayville, New York, and Karlee Roberts, 28, of Ashville, New York, were charged with burglary third degree, criminal mischief fourth degree and petit larceny after they were involved in a burglary of a barn during which items were stolen. Gilbert was also charged for possession of stolen property fifth degree in the town of Chautauqua after some of the stolen property was recovered at his residence. Warrants of arrest were issued for both subjects. Both parties turned themselves in to the Chautauqua County Jail and were released after arraignment.
