Corry City Police

• Corry City Police report that a Corry victim had $1,200 taken from his wallet in his White Street home overnight on Oct. 8. Police said the suspect also took a few dollars and papers from his parked vehicle at his residence. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 664-2222. 

• Corry City Police report that a 15-speed men’s mountain bike was found in the 200 block of North Center Street on Oct. 9. The owner may claim the bike by contacting police at 664-2222. Police said the bike had been on North Center Street for at least a day. 

• Corry City Police report that the driver of a vehicle at 6:49 a.m. on Oct. 8 was traveling west on East Washington Street. Police said the driver, Rachel Wilkins, turned left on to Maple Avenue and struck Hugh Kunselman, of Corry, in the crosswalk. Kunselman sustained minor injuries and was treated and released from Corry Memorial Hospital. Wilkins was cited by summons for a crosswalk violation. 

• Corry City Police report that between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Oct. 10, a firearm, valued at $300, was taken from a residence on West Washington Street. Police said a male juvenile was checking a trap and wasn’t able to bring the firearm back with him, so he left it inside the door of the residence. After returning later, the firearm was missing. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 664-2222.
