• Corry Fire Department was dispatched with Columbus Volunteer Fire Department for a reported rubbish fire at 42125 Route 6 in Columbus Township at 6:50 p.m. Dec. 4. Corry’s engine 103 responded but was canceled while en route. CFD personnel were back in service at 7:06 p.m.

• Corry Fire Department responded to a one-vehicle crash on Route 77, about a half mile from the city of Corry line, at 3:45 p.m. Dec. 4. Upon arrival, crews found one vehicle crashed into a tree with moderate to heavy damage. CFD personnel found two patients on scene and one was entrapped. Crews extricated the patient using the Hurst tool, also known as the jaws of life. Emergycare Ambulance transported one patient and Spartansburg Volunteer Fire Department Ambulance transported the second patient. Traffic control was conducted until the towing service removed the vehicle. Crews were back in service at 17:06 p.m.
