Lloyd Whitman, 60, of Corry, harvested an 8-point buck at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday while hunting behind the former Conelway Elementary School building on the opening day of deer season. The deer weighed 137 pounds and had a rack spread of 23 inches. Whitman shot the buck with a Winchester Model 88 .308.Â
