Pennsylvania State Police
- State police at Corry, 11088 Route 6, will be conducting free child seat car checks today between 2 and 6 p.m. Please contact PSP Corry at 814-663-2043 to schedule an appointment.
Corry City Police
At 2:10 a.m. Nov. 20, officers conducted a traffic stop after observing a traffic violation. Upon investigation, officers were able to determine that Daniel Scott Scouten, 27, of Corry, was driving under the influence. Scouten was subsequently placed under arrest for the suspicion of DUI. He was then transported back to the Corry Police Department for processing.
At 3:30 p.m. Nov. 19, officers responded to 21 Franklin St. for a report of a male causing a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a victim who was reporting that Robert Bromley, 51, was threatening to harm individuals inside the residence. Bromley was arrested and charged with making terroristic threats and summary harassment. Bromley was arraigned in front of District Judge Denise Buell and committed to Erie County Prison.
At 11 p.m. Nov. 21, police were dispatched to 152 W. Church St. for a domestic dispute between Brian McGinnett, 22, and Sarah Graham, 19, both of Erie. After police conducted their investigation, McGinnett was taken into custody for endangering the welfare of a child, simple assault and harassment. McGinnett was then transported to Erie County Prison where he will await his day in court.
