The Journal is seeking Corry’s littlest residents to be part of it’s Beautiful Baby Contest.

Area cuties ages 3 and under may participate and the winner will receive a $100 U.S. savings bond.

Your little one’s picture and first name will be published in the newspaper and on the Journal Web site, www.thecorryjournal.com.

The top 12 vote getters will also have their photo published in a 2010 Beautiful Baby calendar that will be distributed throughout the community.

To enter your child, stop by or mail a photo to Beautiful Baby Contest, c/o the Journal, 28 W. South St., Corry, PA 16407.

Include your child’s first name, your address, phone number and a $5 entry fee. The last day to enter is Wednesday, Sept. 30.

Voting will begin Monday, Oct. 5, and 25 cents will count as one vote.

A picture of each contestant will be displayed inside the Journal lobby. Anyone wishing to vote may stop in and place their money inside the appropriate container.

Votes will also be taken over the phone by credit card — with a $10 minimum— and checks, made payable to the Journal, will also be accepted.

Those who do cast their vote through the mail will be asked to include an official ballot form, which will be published in upcoming editions of the Journal.

The winner and top 12 vote getters will be announced Nov. 2.

Proceeds from the contest will be donated toward the Corry Area Chamber of Commerce’s 2010 CorryFest event.

Calendars will be ready in December and all winners will receive a complimentary copy.

For additional information about the contest, contact the Journal office at 665-8291.
