CLYMER, N.Y. — Members of Clymer Central School board approved a short agenda list Monday during a regular meeting.
A senior class trip to New York City was approved, with students leaving Thursday, June 8, and returning on Sunday, June 11.
Students have been fundraising to cover the cost of the trip, which will include stops to see a Yankees baseball game, a Broadway show and a Staten Island ferry ride.
A new bus driver was hired to fill a position that was left vacant due to a retirement. Cathy Nywiede was approved as the new driver and her position will be effective Jan. 3.
Board members approved Meghan Conway, Elizabeth Styers and Stephanie Donnell as school substitutes.
