Homecoming tailgate will be smashing good time

Community members are invited to take a few swings at a white Chrysler New Yorker during Friday’s 6th annual Hoagie Hut Tailgate Party, which begins at 4:30 p.m. For a donation, participants can choose from a variety of instruments to make their mark. All proceeds will be donated to the Corry Community Center. The Homecoming tailgate party is coordinated by Hoagie Hut owners Janet and Jason Monn, above. For the past eight weeks, Janet and Jason Monn have been working to secure almost 70 sponsors for Friday’s sixth annual Hoagie Hut Tailgate Party.

That means free food, T-shirts, prizes and giveaways for community members who attend the Homecoming celebration, which begins at 4:30 p.m. in the Corry Area Middle-High School parking lot.
