Branching Out

Journal photo by Stephen Sears

Corry streets department employees Mark Leofsky, left, and Paul Mulligan make short work of a pile of branches this morning on West Bond Street. The city’s annual fall brush pickup that began Monday is in full swing and going smoothly. Leofsky said workers should complete their first pass through the city’s four wards later today. If you haven’t placed your brush and branches at the curb, now is the time to get busy. Crews will soon make another sweep through neighborhoods. The pickup is scheduled to be wrapped up at the end of next week.
