By now, many community members have probably heard of the Nightmares on Main Street girls roller derby team.

Over the last year they have made appearances in parades, held breakfast fundraisers and will even debut their own calendar.

But of course their main focus is practicing their sport, which recently underwent a modern revival with several leagues now based in Erie, Warren and Crawford counties.

It’s full contact, it’s fast and it’s the highlight of the week for the Corry team — made up mostly of moms.
