Corry Area School Board members approved a list of personnel items and field trips during a regular meeting this week.

Sharon Crandall, Kim Bova, Debbie Mosher, Lori Carney and Michele Rogan were approved as Extended School Year para-educators (pending enrollment).

Extended School Year teachers who were approved (pending enrollment) are Beth Askins, Amber Dunmire, Kevin Fallon and Dawna Lyngarkos.

Several middle-high school summer academy teachers were approved (pending enrollment). They are Nicole Strychalski (math), Ryan Kelly (math), Gregory Luther (math), Stacey Reynolds (ELA), Sara Balogh (science/biology) and Gary Hogue (social studies). Kara Chludzinski (ELA) was also approved after an addendum to an original agenda was added.

Elementary Enrichment Camp teachers were approved (pending enrollment). They are Elizabeth Anderson, Diane Clark, Rebecca Donovan, Brooke Dowlen, Rachel Knapp and Diane White.

The appointment of Richard Tinko as summer mower was approved and effective as of April 22 at a base pay rate of $10 per hour.

Tucker Harrington (nondistrict) was approved as a category I volunteer for the high school football team for the 2019-20 season.

Gifted and advanced learner students (about 30) were approved to attend a field trip to Kennywood in West Mifflin, which will take place on Thursday, May 30. The students will be under the supervision of Beth Brady and one other adult.

Marching band students (about 40) were approved to attend a field trip to Cleveland and Cedar Point from Wednesday, May 29, through Thursday, May 30. Students will be under the supervision of Heather Yeager and two other adults.

In an addendum to the original agenda, a field trip request from Honors Choir (about 50 students) to attend a field trip to Radio City Music Hall in New York, New York, from Friday, Nov. 15, through Sunday, Nov. 17, was approved. Students will be under the supervision of Kim Smrcka and four other adults.
