UNION CITY - Pennsylvania State Police at Corry reported multiple armed suspects forced their way into a Union City residence and robbed a trio of local residents over the weekend.
Three Union City residents reported that four to five unknown males armed with shotguns kicked in the front door of their private residence along North Main Street and demanded money on Sunday, according to a recent news release from state police.
The incident occurred between 1 and 1:30 a.m.
The news release states the suspects then ransacked the residence and took two of the victims' cellphones as well as a Playstation 4 before fleeing the scene in a vehicle traveling eastbound on Route 6.
The Playstation video gaming console is valued at $250 and the pair of cellphones are valued at $100.
Through the course of the police investigation, suspects have been developed and the investigation is currently ongoing, according to the news release.
The suspects' vehicle was listed as known in the news release but a description was not provided.
