Leprechaun hunters

A pesky leprechaun made his way into Conelway Elementary School today — St. Patrick’s Day. Kindergarten students in Joanie Thomas’ class tried their hardest to catch the little fairy, but came up empty. Each student, including Ashlyn Michaels, left, and Brilie Tasker, made a trap to catch the tiny man, but the leprechaun still managed to escape through a hole in the ceiling in the hallway. Hopefully, the Conelway kids can muster up the luck of the Irish next year. Journal photo by Stephen Sears
