Corry City Police

• Police arrested Monica L. Rose, 43, of Corry, for public drunkenness at 1:29 p.m. Jan. 6. Corry City Police allege that Rose was so intoxicated that she fell while attempting to get into the rear of her vehicle and could not get up off the street. Rose will answer the charge before District Judge Brenda Nichols of Corry. 

• A Corry Neighborhood Watch meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 13, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 201 E. South St., at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held in the downstairs room. 

Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office

CLYMER, N.Y.— Peek ’n Peak management noticed money missing from the front desk area at the Main Inn, 1405 Old Road, Clymer, N.Y. Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office investigation division was notified. Police said the investigation led to the arrest of Sylvia Whiteley, 42, of Union City, who was an employee working when the money came up missing. The investigation revealed Whiteley to have stolen $100 from the money drawer behind the front desk. She was issued an appearance ticket and will answer to a petit larceny charge in French Creek court. 

CLYMER, N.Y. — An investigation was conducted in regard to two pairs of missing snowboard boots from  Peek ’n Peak Ski Resort, 1405 Old Road, Clymer, N.Y. The investigation led to the recovery of the boots, which were returned to the resort, and Reed J. Coccarelli, 19, of Ripley, N.Y., was found to be in possession of them. Police said Coccarelli will appear in French Creek court in mid January.
