Because she has a respiratory issue, Mary Jane Cable was worried when she learned workers would be conducting a smoke test of the city’s sanitary sewer system in her north Wright Street neighborhood.

Cable called the city building with her concerns.

“I wanted to make sure I would be able to breathe, “Cable said.
