Corry man charged with assault on police officer

A Corry man was sent to Erie County Prison this morning on charges he attempted to injure a police officer with two screwdrivers.

Corry City Police charged Robert Kenneth Light, 45, of 429 E. Washington St., with one felony count of aggravated assault, one misdemeanor count each of prohibited offensive weapons and disorderly conduct and one summary count of public drunkenness.
