Those in the market for a low mileage International Model 4700 fire rescue truck will have their opportunity to bid on one this Saturday.

Starting at 10 a.m., the city of Corry will be holding a public auction at the city maintenance garage, 650 E. Smith Street.

“We’re asking the citizens of Corry to clean up the town, and now we are trying to do the same thing ourselves,” said Tom Winchell, interim city manager.

The auction will be run by Cox’s Auction House.

Other items for auction include a DT 466 diesel engine, three golf carts, a 2003 Crown Victoria police cruiser, hundreds of parking meters, more than two hundred bicycles, a cement mixer, a 5-yard dump box, a Barnes Centrifugal pump with Wisconsin engine, rail road ties, an 8-foot farm disc, a Lincoln 400 amp welder with a Hercules motor, a 1960 AC spark plug cleaner, an 8N rear axle, ceiling exhaust ventilators, traffic lights, and a hot dog cooker.

Other items may be included in the auction.

Terms of the auction are cash or known check.
