National Nurses Week, which began Sunday and ends Saturday, isbeing observed across the United States, including at Corry Memorial Hospital. The theme this year is “Advocacy, Leadership and Caring.” National Nurses Week coincides with Florence Nightingale’s birthday, which is May 12. Nightingale was the founder of modern nursing.
