The aging fuel facilities at Corry-Lawrence Airport could be getting a makeover thanks to a $75,000 state grant.

Gov. Tom Corbett announced Thursday that the city-owned airport at 800 Spring St. was awarded the grant by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s aviation development program. Funding for the aviation program comes from the state’s jet fuel tax and leverages more than $1.3 million in local matching funds.
