State police from Troop E, which includes Corry, Warren and Franklin barracks, will conduct a sobriety checkpoints and roving patrols this month in Warren County to look for drivers who are under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance.

The enforcement effort will focus on roads that have shown a high incidence of DUI arrests, DUI crashes and other alcohol-related incidents.

Troopers staffing the checkpoints and roving patrols will be in addition to the regular patrols for Warren County.

The checkpoints and patrols are in conjunction with the Troop E departmentwide Checkpoint Strike Force Initiative.
