Candidate visits Corry

Mike Kelly, candidate for the 3rd Congressional District, made a campaign stop in Corry on Wednesday. He had lunch at the Corry Country Club and took a tour of the city, discussing issues such as his concern over what he calls “out-of-control” government spending. “We already have enough debt, why add to it?” he said. Kelly said he was impressed by Corry. “It’s highly energized,” he said. “It should be a destination, not just a name on a map.” Kelly, a Republican from Butler, is running against incumbent Democrat Kathy Dahlkemper for the Congressional seat in the Nov. 2 general election.
