A Corry man was transferred from Corry Memorial Hospital to Saint Vincent Health Center in Erie after his truck ended up hitting two houses on West Washington Street late Wednesday morning.

No one was injured in the crash.

Corry City Police reported Stanley J. Sander, 82, of 17375 Donation Road, Corry, was westbound on West Washington Street at 11:48 a.m. when, due to an unknown medical condItion, he apparently blacked out. Sander’s truck crossed into the eastbound lane and went into the front yard at 272 W. Washington St.

Sander’s Dodge 1500 truck took out some shrubbery before hitting the bottom part of a house. The truck then hit the corner of a porch at 276 W. Washington St., where it came to rest in a yard between the two houses.

Sander was taken by a city police officer to Corry Memorial Hospital, where he was transferred to Saint Vincent. His condition was not available this morning.

Sander’s truck sustained minor damage.
