UNION CITY — This week is a busy one for the Union City Family Support Center.
The support center co-sponsors the borough’s sixth annual National Night Out Tuesday evening in Caflisch and Devereaux parks.
The party continues Wednesday at the two parks on Willow and Bridge streets when the support center holds its first-ever fundraiser from 3 to 7 p.m.
The event will feature a cruise-in and displays from several sponsors, Corry Ford, Cycle City, Off Road Express and NAPA Auto Parts.
There will be face painting and games for the kids, and hot dogs, chips and pop will be sold at family-friendly prices.
There also will be live music.
“This is the first time we’ve done this,” said Brad McGarry, the support center’s executive director. “This will help raise funds for the center.”
The Union City Family Support Center provides social services and parenting and child development services for southeastern Erie County.
“We also help connect families with a wide variety of services,” McGarry said.
The support center is located at 38 N. Main St.
