The buildings have been cleaned, the buses are ready, and the personnel is in place for the start of the 2012-13 school year in the Corry Area School District.

With veteran teachers returning for an in-service day on Monday, and new teachers and long-term substitutes also reporting, the Corry Area School Board held a special meeting to approve last-minute hirings and resignations.

“As far as we know, all our personnel are hired and we’re ready to go,” said district Superintendent Bill Nichols.
