Beavers think pink

Members of the Corry Area High School varsity soccer team will be wearing pink ribbons on their sleeves for the rest of October in celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Junior Trevor Dunmire, center, came up with the idea and senior teammates Matt Blair, left, and Kenny Adams, right, joined in the effort to outfit the team with the symbolic pink ribbon. All three boys have had family members who have been touched by breast cancer. Thursday night’s game against Warren was the debut of the uniform ribbons, which were donated by Miss Millie’s Proper Petals.
