Santa in Corry City Park

Santa Claus will be visiting with children on Sunday, Dec. 1, in Corry City Park. Isabella Murr brought her Christmas wish list with her during last year's visit.

An announcement has just come in from the North Pole and Santa Claus will be in Corry City Park on Sunday, Dec. 1.
At 4 p.m., the man in the red suit will arrive to the park on a fire truck and will begin meeting with children ages 12 and younger at the gazebo.
"Santa will be listening to children's wish lists for Christmas and giving out hats, mittens and a small goodie bag," said Vicki Gates, a member of the Corry Kiwanis Club, which sponsors the free event.
There will also be hot chocolate and cookies for those in attendance.
The Kiwanis Club has a long-standing tradition of bringing Santa to Corry on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. And no matter the weather — rain, shine, sleet or snow — the event will kick off promptly at 4 p.m. and will continue until Santa has met with every child in line.
Members of the Corry Area High School Key Club will also be helping out at the event.
