When Sheri Yetzer agreed in August to temporarily lead the Corry Area School District as acting superintendent, her contract as assistant superintendent didn’t include any extra frills — or money.

Yetzer was hired as the district’s assistant superintendent in November 2010 under then-Superintendent Brian Dougherty. She and the Corry Area School Board agreed to a five-year contract with a salary of $95,000 a year, plus benefits.

The salary didn’t increase when she accepted the acting superintendent’s position, which she held for six months.
