New plaques stem from Golden Apple winners

UNION CITY — A new plaque on display at Union City Elementary School is the apple of Joyce Lansberry’s eye.

The plaque, crafted from oak and colorfully appointed with an apple and pencil designs, honors teachers in the Union City Area School District who have won Golden Apple Awards by WJET-TV and Edinboro University.
