The Corry Area School District will start the 2012-13 school year without nine of its current teachers and four current service personnel employees.

Those 13 employees will retire in June at the end of the current school year.

The Corry Area School Board on Monday approved letters of resignation for the teachers and service personnel employees as a result of an incentive offered by the district.

The incentive included a monetary bonus or an insurance option for a single person or family.
