Residents who have not provided input into Corry’s visioning process may do so until the end of today.

Corry’s visioning plan — Corry 2020: Get on Board with Corry’s Vision — began in March in an effort to improve the qualify of life by creating positive change.

A survey is available online to give residents one more chance to fill out the questionnaire about Corry’s future.

The survey is available online at the Corry 2020 Web site at, click on Survey Questions. The survey includes 10 questions concerning what you love about the Corry area, its strong points, its resources, and your vision of Corry 10 years from now.

Residents have had opportunities to provide their ideas through several community forums. The forums have been conducted by Renee Lamis, Ph.D., of Dynamic Visions Consulting, who is overseeing the strategic-planning process, and volunteer facilitators.

Lamis has been working with a coordinating committee comprised of Pam Brown, executive director of the Corry Area Chamber of Commerce; Steve Bishop, executive director of the Corry Higher Education Council; Alex Gernovich, a member of the Corry Community Development Corp.; and citizens Mike Largarticha and Chris Schalles.
