Beauty queens, fairy tales, a lot of music, classic and vintage cars, and fireworks are just some of the highlights of 2012 CorryFest.

This year's festival runs from Friday, June 15, to Sunday, June 17, and is scheduled to coincide with Corry’s annual Alumni Dinner, which will be held Saturday, June 16, in the cafeteria of Corry Area High School.

CorryFest has received funding in the form of a $6,000 grant from the Corry Community Foundation and a $694 grant from the Erie County Gaming and Revenue Authority.

Janet Monn, executive director of the Corry Area Chamber of Commerce, which sponsors CorryFest, said volunteers are still needed.

“We’re hoping people will want to volunteer and help make this year's CorryFest a success,” Monn said.
